The active volcano Tangkuban Parahu is located approximately 20 kilometers north of Bandung and has a height of 2,087 meters. There are a total of nine craters on the Tangkuban Parahu mountain massif, with the Ratu crater being the largest. Its crater rim, at an elevation of about 1,800 meters, is accessible to visitors.
