Ancient and beautiful mountain houses create the charm of Ave, a hamlet of Ardesio (BG). Also in this case the high altitude (1,100 m.) and the collapse of the agro-forestry-pastoral mountain economy are at the basis of the complete abandonment, only now in the first attempts at recovery. Its splendid position and the rich fir woods that surround it are in fact the reason for an albeit modest (4 inhabitants) resettlement.
