Hurth-Berrenrath, market square. A base detail of the Wendelinus fountain designed by Paul Milles shows Alt-Sankt-Wendelin in the middle of the old town. With the depiction of the church spire bending around the edge of the fountain, the artist commemorated its demolition due to dilapidation in 1952. Due to the foreseeable demolition of the church, which then took place in 1959, no renovation was carried out and the tower was fitted with a flat helmet
