Between Florence and Arezzo, in a wonderful natural environment of millenary forests rich in fauna, wolves, deer, roe deer, fallow deer and eagles, hermitages, monasteries and medieval castles.

Casale Camalda is an ancient Tuscan rural complex in stone, in an isolated and silent position, among woods and streams, a stone's throw from the historic monastery of Camaldoli, reachable on foot with easy and short paths through the forest.

Casale Camalda is within the National Park of the Casentinesi Forests, Monte Falterona and Campigna.

Several paths start and pass from here, all easy and extremely interesting from a naturalistic, historical and landscape point of view.

Three different paths from the Casale, derived from small roads and historical paths frequented over the centuries by woodcutters, pilgrims, charcoal burners, peasants and brigands, quickly reach the Monastery of Camaldoli by joining the path network of the Casentinesi Forests.
