Tips

Lovely, easy drive around the lake. Well developed, almost flat path with small height differences (also suitable for the family).

The drinking water dam Mauthaus (Ködeltalsperre) is complete with the wheel on the Vorsperre complete, the whole way is asphalted and therefore easy to drive.

    The difficulty falls below S0.

Description of the route: The circular tour around the Ködeltalsperre runs on the car-free, paved path around the drinking water reservoir. In several places, seating invites you to take breaks, which makes the route particularly attractive for families with small children

The marked stretch of this highlight is, as previous speakers said, completely tarred. Mountain bikers who like it a little more dusty can simply drive straight ahead at the northern basin crossing and then cross the Nordhalbener Ködel at the first opportunity and drive back on the west side to the tarred path at the dam!
