This seesaw mill was fully operational until 1963 and drained the Oudenhofpolder.

It was always assumed that the mill was built in 1783, but that is no longer the case since 2013. A building specification in the polder archive provides sufficient evidence that it was built in 1819. The then newly built mill may have had to replace a burned or damaged predecessor.

Due to all kinds of construction projects, the mill is now "built in" between apartment buildings and other buildings. The mill still turns every now and then and can usually be visited at those times.
