Els Arquets de Baix is a Mudejar bridge with six arches dating from the 13th century, which Torrent has recovered due to its rich heritage. Aqueducts were used centuries ago to conduct water, in one of the most traditional irrigation systems that still survive in some architectural remains. It is the only vestige left of the canal that, as early as the 13th century, collected water and distributed it to the entire population.
