Shackleton Falls is a waterfall on South Georgia in the South Atlantic. They are at the head of the Shackleton Valley in the Bosom region. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2013 after naming the valley of the same name. Its namesake is the British polar explorer Ernest Shackleton (1874-1922), who, after an adventurous rescue trip in a dinghy from Elephant Island to South Georgia, succeeded in crossing the island with two companions in May 1916.
