Crean Lake is a lake on South Georgia in the South Atlantic. It lies west of the Shackleton Valley in the Bosom region. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2013. It is named after the Irish able seaman and polar explorer Thomas Crean (1877-1938), who, together with Ernest Shackleton and Frank Worsley, died in 1916 as part of the Endurance Expedition (1914-1917) to save the Expedition members stranded on Elephant Island made the first crossing of South Georgia.
