The Warnsdorfer Quelle is a popular destination for hikers and day-trippers in the Tharandter Wald recreational area. It is located at the junction of Dorfhainer Weg and C-Flügel. There is a rest area and a refuge there. The source is the strongest source of drinking water in the Tharandter forest per second up to four liters of water and served from 1906 to 1991, the water supply of Tharandt and part of the spa Hartha. Today, it supplies the service water for the ForstPark Tharandt and feeds the Quellenich and a biotope pond the Warnsdorfer Bach in the catchment area of the Triebisch.
