Thanks to the small town, the construction of the church of Johann Georg Pfister (1656-1718) from Schirnaidel, prince-bishop Kanzlist to Bamberg. The construction work at that time, the Bamberg master mason Andreas Rheinthaler († June 1718) directed, the underlying blueprint probably comes from the Bamberg architect Johann Dientzenhofer (1663-1726).
