In reality, only the last part of this route would be called Rigonfiatoio, given that the entire stretch is made up of a total of 3 segments in a row: 2 PINE, PETTIERE and GONFIATOIO, for a total of 1.8kms in length, a slope average of 7% and a total height difference of 120m.

The total of the segment begins on road 106 of Montemaggio and leads to the crossing of the Arnano ditch.

It is not advisable to follow the Rigonfiatoio until the end of the original segment, since it leads to private property where there are often also Maremma shepherd dogs.

First part of single-track (2 PINI) quite flat, technical and swirling, with ups and downs and chicanes among the trees.

Second part (PETTIERE) more nervous, with a more marked slope and a continuous change of direction and level.

The last faster part has been cleared and deforested and descends to the Fosso di Arnano.

Be careful when crossing the ditch, which has been cleared, but still requires many steps to smooth out the path.
