The lake can be reached via Stubbe Søvej with a driveway just east of Stubbe Bro (Havmølle Å), marked with a sign saying "Stubbe Sø". From the parking lot it continues on foot. After about 100 meters, an arrow points to the left to the bird tower. You can also use Gravlevstien from Gravlev. It takes about half an hour.

The lake shore has limited access, but at the same time makes the lake an undisturbed place. The best way to observe the hustle and bustle of the lake from the large bird watching tower. From up there you have a good view over part of the lake and the immediate surroundings.
