The Vague des Gomhets is located at the confluence of several streams. The origin of the name of the site, Vague des Gomhets, is rather obscure but we know that the term "vague" formerly referred to non-cultivable land because it was too far away or quite simply unsuitable for cultivation. It is a wetland of great biological interest.
