Hiking

The very beautiful half-timbered building was built in 1672. Today it serves as the seat of the Protestant church administration. The artistic fountain right next to it is also worth seeing.

Cycling

The "old rectory" on Bahnhofstrasse, built in 1672, is one of the most beautiful and (with the neighboring Spoerlé fountain) most photographed buildings in the city of Ameriswil. The half-timbered house was used as a parsonage until 1974 and since then, after extensive renovation, has served as the splendid seat of the Protestant parish administration.
