Eastern access to the well-known Hudelmoos biotopes. No road to get there (bike ban), only possible on foot.
The Hudelmoos nature reserve lies between Amriswil and Bischofszell, in a hollow gouged out by an arm of the Rhine glacier and is surrounded by a dark strip of forest. The Riet area, which still encompasses around 30 hectares today, was placed under nature protection in 1933 and is now classified as a landscape of national importance. The magnificent local recreation area is home to a rich, sometimes very rare flora and fauna.
