Renovated in the 1990s, this fort once housed 25 pieces of artillery and a garrison of 477 men. With a mission to protect the surroundings of Grenoble at the time, it is now a museum and a great place to take a break and enjoy the view. There is a restaurant, but I advise you to check in advance if you plan to eat there, as it is temporarily closed at the time of this writing.
