De Groote Moost is a nature reserve in the municipality of Leudal, directly south of the Noordervaart. It concerns a seriously dried up Peel remnant, a so-called Peelven. However, the province of Limburg has designated it as a 'promising drying out area'.
The area is artificially kept wet by means of water from the canal.
