The city park is the green lung of the city and is located in the immediate vicinity of the main train station, on the other side of the river. It's 6.5 hectares and you get an interesting view of the city from the top.

The city park, which was built in the south of the main station, was laid out on the area of the Daberstedter ski jump. He received his present appearance in 1908. The striking entrance staircase with the fountain was built from 1908-1910.
