The largest Polish lake with side branches covers an area of approx. 124.75 km2, and can be travelled along a 95 km long bicycle route. The depth reaches over 23 m, and the average is only 5.9 m. There are 8 islands on the lake with a total area of 38 ha. The "Masurian Sea" is 660.2 million m3 of water.
