A small, but very charming, typical summer village by Lake Tałty. You can get here from the side of road No. 59 (taking a sharp turn before Zalec, signpost towards Baranowo) or from Mikołajki, 10 km away from Jora Wielka.

A typical summer village. In the summer, a well-known bar operates here, serving, among others, grilled dishes and several guesthouses. You can also rent cottages here. There are two ports in the village where you can rent motor boats and yachts or family kayaks. Minor boatbuilding repairs are also possible here. In one of the ports there is also a bar and a playground for children.

A settlement founded by the Teutonic Order as part of the colonization of these lands. The settlers were obliged to one armed service. The people of Jora were granted the right to fish in Lake Tałty. Initially, it was a landed gentry village, later it became a peasant village, but it retained the Chełmno law.
