Tips
The castle actually dates from the 20th century. Only in 1924 was it rebuilt in the English country house style on the site of a castle that had been demolished in 1795. The previous building itself came from the Middle Ages. The castle is privately owned by the von Zwehl family, into whom the daughter Agnes of Baron Sigmund von Pfetten auf Niederarnbach, the builder, married.
