A good starting point for this tour is the Schornhecke car park, from there it goes to the Rhönclub members' memorial, Steinernes Haus, where there is great food, Thüringer Hütte with its good cakes, then to the Stirnberg and on to the Schornhecke starting point. During the tour you have the opportunity to observe rare flora and fauna from orchids to black storks.
