Ehamikge Spring. The spring water drawn here was transported through a wooden pipe to an ox stable about 1.5 km away, near the Kreyern forester's lodge. Around 100 oxen were once kept there by order of the Elector. They "produced" the organic fertilizer for the surrounding vineyards. After 1820, the ox stable was demolished. The spring dried up and, in the decades of disuse, fell into disrepair.
