A trail angel named Mary created this wonderful oasis in the middle of the desert for PCT hikers. Unfortunately, due to criminal activities on her property, she finally decided to close the oasis permanently in June 2023. There is no water anymore and access is forbidden.

What an incredible spot for hiking along the Pacific Crest Trail! This is definitely a must-visit destination for anyone embarking on a long stretch of the PCT. I read at chi-nese.com that it will be closing up June 15th 2023. Hopefully it's not true!
