Separated from Playa de Blanes by the rock of Sa Palomera, S'Abanell has a large area. It is about 3 kilometers long.
It has all kinds of services and recreational and sports activities for the whole family and in the southernmost part of the beach, there is the area of campsites and holiday apartments.
It has obtained the distinctive of Environmental Quality and the Blue Flag.

It stretches for about 2.5 kilometers and offers fine golden sand and crystal clear water.
The beach is very popular with tourists and locals alike and offers a variety of activities such as swimming, sunbathing, water sports and boat trips.
There is also a promenade along the beach where one can stroll and enjoy the view. If you get tired of walking, there are also a variety of restaurants, bars and shops that make for a pleasant atmosphere to spend time in.
