Felfela was originally founded by A. Zaghloul in 1959, in the heart of the greater Cairo, and has become one of the most iconic restaurants in Egypt. Felfela is the first restaurant to promote Egyptian and Mediterranean cuisine inside and outside of Egypt. With its very authentic decoration, Felfela offers a unique experience and not just a place to eat. Only in our restaurant, you can feel the originality of the typical oriental decoration that symbolizes the traditions of the Egyptian society.

The branch of this iconic chain of restaurants in Hurghada is situated on the gentle curve of the main bay overlooking the azure blue waters of the Red Sea and out around the bay past the new marina complex, the international ferry terminal and out to the headland that starts to area of Dahar (Downtown).

There is parking outside and all of the local taxis know the location well and the restaurant is on the coast road promenade walkway, so access is easy however you want to get there.

The restaurant building recently underwent a full restoration and make-over but has unfortunately stayed closed. We eagerly await an update on the re-opening date!
