It's a rather small museum, but definitely worth a visit at around €4 entrance fee. The only downside is that the entrance is on the other side of the building. I've created a new highlight there.

The museum entrance is located here, not on the other side.
The museum is quite compact, with a small exhibit covering each period of Egyptian history. Admission was approximately €4.00 in 2025, and it's definitely worth a visit.
The museum exit leads to a small market hall with textiles, leather goods, souvenirs, and everything else a tourist could (probably) want. 😀
