The mayor's stone is a coat of arms stone that adorned the parapet of the three-arched sandstone bridge over the Ohm, built in 1665. The stone bears the coats of arms of the mayor at the time, the builder and the lay judge.
During the fighting for Kirchhain in 1945, the stone on the upper left edge was damaged.
