Gellibrand Hill is the high point of this walk, rising above the surrounding grassland and woodland with a full 360-degree view from the top. On a clear day you can pick out Melbourne’s skyline, the airport and the surrounding plains. The climb is fairly steady rather than especially steep, and the exposed summit makes a good place to stop before heading down towards the Back Paddock.
