The Balzo Rosso is a peak of the Sibillini Mountains 1444 meters high. Its name derives from the reddish color determined by the rock of which it is composed, the Scaglia Rossa. This rock, of marine sedimentary origin, is very friable and not very stable. For this reason, despite the ideal appearance of the wall, Balzo Rosso is not a destination for climbers and has no ways to reach the summit.
