The Osser is easy to climb even in winter. Although you need a lot of stamina and waterproof footwear for the last kilometer, as the hiking trail tends to be steeper in deep snow, reaching the Osser is worth the effort.

Although there is no all-round view, you will find a comfortable place to take a break and have a beautiful view of the Rote Wand, the racing field and the Hochlantsch. You can also see the Hochschwab massif behind the racing field.

Unfortunately the summit book is full. That's why I ask the next person who climbs the summit to take a new summit book with them. A new ballpoint pen wouldn't hurt either :)

The Osser is also easy to climb in winter. You do need a lot of stamina and waterproof shoes for the last kilometer, as the hiking trail is rather steep in deep snow, but reaching the Osser is worth the effort.

There is no panoramic view, but you can find a comfortable place to rest and have a beautiful view of the Rote Wand, the Rennfeld and the Hochlantsch. You can also see the Hochschwab massif behind the Rennfeld.

The Osser is a mountain peak in the Alpenland Nature Park at 1,548 metres above sea level. In contrast to the peaks around it, it is less visited. The summit cross is a nice place to rest.
