Only since the summer of 2021 was the access to the Totenkopf Felsen officially approved and created by the authorities of the national park. Too many tourists in the time before were illegally looking for the rock and nature suffered as a result. In a reserve it is strictly forbidden to leave the hiking trails, although the highlight was only 50 meters from the blue and white marked hiking trail, it was difficult to find.
