Route uphill with a steady incline and always a beautiful view

A very easy climb along the road with beautiful and varied landscapes: we start at the Agujero Dam, which we usually see dry because the water accumulates towards the sea. Right there the climb begins, after a few minutes we will pass a (short) tunnel that just on the other side has the famous Venta el Túnel, famous for its rice soup. Continuing the climb we pass through several Ventas and groups of small houses until we reach a monolith to the right of the road that indicates the detour along the dirt road to the Montes de Málaga. Without turning off we will continue along the road going up, the altitude improves the views even more until we finally reach the top, right on a curve where there is a house with the sign "I sell honey" that gives its name to this climb. If we continue along the road we can even reach Casabermeja, with more climbing and better views but that is already part of another route.

The route runs along a well-maintained road through a diverse landscape. Initially, you pass a small tunnel and a restaurant, then the road climbs steadily, passing scattered houses, until a striking rock formation marks the turnoff to a dirt road leading into the Montes de Málaga. The climb ends at a bend with a small house, which gives the route its name. Those who wish can continue the route towards Casabermeja.
