This is one of the nicest mountainbikeable trails in Kerry - do be careful, technically mountain biking isn't allowed here but if you respect the hikers and the environment then you shouldn't run into too much trouble from the park rangers. Just. Be. Nice...

Nice to carry on down the road at the end, over the main road to the cafe in the middle of the lakes then up to the hostel and over and through the black valley, round the end of the big lake and back up to the start of the ride (the old kenmare Road) using the cycle paths in the park
