    De Stenen board
The mill on the right (seen in the direction of the current) served as a grain mill until around 1875 and was then converted into a chicory factory. It burned down in 1880 and was rebuilt the following year. The municipality of Borculo bought this mill in 1957. After the restoration, the building was leased to the Vlessert family, who set up a restaurant in it. In 1994, management of the restaurant was transferred to the current restaurant owners Raymond Prinsen (chef) and Gea Meppelink. From 1999 to 2011 the restaurant had a Michelin star. In December 2010, it was announced that the restaurant would close on April 1, 2011.[1] In 2019, a new catering company called Proeflokaal 01 was set up in the building.
In the restaurant, behind a fence, you can see the gear driven by the water wheel.

    The Olliemölle
This mill is the smaller of the two and, as the name suggests, was built as an oil mill. In 1920 it was converted into a grain mill. In 1924 the community purchased this mill; Since 1978, this part of the complex has also been used as a restaurant. In 2008, this bistro received a Bib Gourmand from Michelin.
