A new church was built in 1744 on the foundation walls of an old fortified church. A massive tower with a dome and an eight-sided lantern with a hood was placed in front of the west gable in 1776. The pulpit altar from the previous building from 1685 can be seen in the church. It is decorated with carved figures. Gallery-like galleries adjoin both sides of the altar. The baptism made of artificial stone is from 1860. On the north wall there is still a baroque pulpit altar from 1719 from the Tietzow village church, which was demolished in 1975.

Two mummified adults from the 16th century were discovered in the tower crypt in 1935/36. There are several grave monuments on the outside of the tower. The two larger of what were once three medieval bronze bells have been preserved.
