The forest idyll path on the Maisweg in Bayerisch Gmain leads small visitors to points with great views and idyllic places with great opportunities for experience for the senses. You can rest, play, think and relax on fairy thrones, forest loungers and tree benches along the way. You should consciously take your time for nature on the way. By the way, you can learn more about Bayerisch Gmains vegetation, history, geology, water and the alpine salt at the information circulars.
The path is accessible all year round in all weathers. In summer the canopy of leaves provides relaxing shade, and when it rains it keeps out most of the drops. The path is also cleared in winter and is ideal for beautiful winter walks. The circular route, starting from the hiking center, can be walked in both directions. Those who choose the upper path will soon pass the fountain. After the first long ascent you reach a cozy resting place where information boards provide information about the local flora and bird life. Also here invites
    Well for a funny "splash".

Along the stream: Here the maize circular path continues flat, two small inclines still have to be overcome until the path goes slightly downhill. Just before the Roman bridge, the circular path makes a turn and leads back to the hiking center.
Tip: If you change the valley side, a path leads approx. 200 m relatively steeply up to the waterfall. The wonderful landscape rewards the hiker's heart.

Way back: On the way back, you first go along the banks of the Weißbach. It goes on and on through the forest, at the edge one discovers an old brine pipe. Towards the end of the hike you cross the rails of the railway connection and reach the starting point in a few minutes.
