In recent years, Plac Wolności has been completely renovated and rebuilt. Since Krakauer Strasse was converted into a pedestrian zone, there has been a roundabout on it. In the adjacent park there is a fountain designed by Florian Jesionowski, the shape of which is based on the colorful wings of dancing butterflies.Promenade concerts are held regularly in July and August on the square.
