As mini-mountains go, few are as visually stunning as Stac Pollaidh. This is especially true when viewed from the trailhead at the car park by Loch Lurgainn. From here, the path to the east is the easier approach, having been recently upgraded with large flagstones by Scottish Natural Heritage. The path on the west side is boggy and eroded.
