One of Wiltshire's lesser-known white chalk horses, the Broad Town horse was carved in 1863 by a local farmer, just above Littleton Farm outside Broad Town village. The horse can be seen from a considerable distance but, due to its rural location, you certainly have to know it's there to find it.

The White Horse Trail, a long-distance footpath linking Wiltshire's chalk horses, runs along the track immediately below the horse.
