Hiking
The Schesatobel is one of the largest mudflats in Europe in the Eastern Alps. From 1800 onwards, mudslides began to occur here again and again, triggered by deforestation. A beautiful forest path leads along the edge and you can see the huge dimensions of this Murbruch. The Russian canal, which was built by Russian prisoners of war for drainage, also runs through the forest.
