On the base of the cross is an inscription in Slovak:
"KRIŽ TENTO SVETY, JE POSTAVENÝ KU CTI AJ CHYALE BOŽEJ A NA VEČNÚ SPÁSU DUSICEK V OČISTCL R.P. 1934."
This translates as:
"This holy cross is erected for the glory and praise of God and for the eternal salvation of souls in Purgatory. A.D. 1934."
