My favorite hut!

Everything is just right here: online booking system, friendly hut tenants, great dinner either at a mountaineer's price, from the menu or as a menu, special requests are taken into account, breakfast as a buffet. You can even take a small snack with you for €3 (2022).

The hut is easily accessible by cable car from Hochimst. There are plenty of free parking spaces available in Hochimst. From the middle station, the ascent takes 1.5 to 2 hours. From the mountain station, it takes about 30 minutes to the hut via the Drischelsteig with a slight loss in altitude. The Alpincoaster from the middle station is ideal for the descent.

The touring area offers climbers, mountaineers and hikers of all levels an offer for several days.

The hut is located in an area where countless climbing walls, bouldering rocks, several via ferratas, and truly beautiful mountain tours are just waiting to be explored.

The hut itself isn't large, but rather homey and cozy. It's very clean, and the bathroom facilities are truly excellent for a mountain hut. The food was beyond reproach. Half-board is highly recommended: The breakfast is very plentiful for a hut, and dinner is truly a delight!
