    quiet road in good condition, continue from Teersalo with a ferry to Palva (and Velkuanmaa) and back (half-hourly year-round) or Hakkenpää (summer only, twice daily) and onwards to Taivassalo, see finferries.fi for more info

      many sections recently partially repaved (the outer ~1.5 m only, almost as if they were doing this specifically for cyclists...)

        now all new asphalt in the NW half of this segment (and onward, from Merimasku to Livonsaari), the rest is older but okay (just a couple of potholes...)
