The “Neddermöhl” was first mentioned in 1592 as an inheritance mill for the von Behr family. However, she is probably much older. It is not known when it was built. The Thiede family has owned the mill since 1830 through marriage and continues to own the mill to this day. In 1877 she replaced the inheritance interest rights from the then landowner von Behr.
In 1932 the water wheels were replaced by a flow turbine.
Hydropower was reactivated to generate electricity in 2006. The weir has a storage height of approx. 2 m.
