In 1296 Dietrich II von Heinsberg acquired the Immendorf house and gave it back to the brothers Dietrich and Johann vom Immendorf as a fief. In 1438 the estate came to Ahrweiler through an inheritance from Gerhard von Blanckart. Heinrich von Mirbach zu Ticheln bought the estate in 1458. The estate was bequeathed to Gotthard Adolf von Mirbach zu Harff in 1702. In the 18th century the castle was replaced by a simple farm. The two-storey house with a mansard roof bears the year 1789 in the iron anchor.

The Landcafe is well-known in the area for first-class cakes, bread and rolls. Brunch, Bergisches Kaffeetafel or just a piece of cake with a delicious specialty coffee are worthwhile stopping for a bite to eat. When the weather is nice you can sit on the terrace at the small pond. Groups should make better reservations in advance otherwise it might be difficult to get a table (especially on weekends and holidays). The environment is very rural and invites to go for a walk and hiking.
