      The Cartuja de Santa María de Miraflores is a monastery located in the surroundings of the Fuentes Blancas park, about four kilometers east of the center of Burgos.
      Surrounded by a lush forest stood an old hunting palace that King John II later converted into a monastery for Carthusian monks.
