The path around the Alpsee is a dream HIKING PATH. We are with our wheels on the left. Driven side (swimming pool side). That is not necessarily recommended. The path is rocky, with steps and sometimes very narrow. You have to push or carry some wheels here.

The Alpsee (about 62m deep) near Hohenschwangau impresses with its blue clear water. In addition to an outdoor pool and the resident boat rental, the lake offers a light Alpine circular walk with a length of about 6km! The hiking trail is "not suitable for wheelchairs, strollers or bicycles"! It always goes back over rough stones, big roots and small bridges with grid floor, mountain up and down! The view is breathtaking and you get a glimpse of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwanstein here and there!
