In Mencshely, on the top of the Halom-hegy (399m), the Lookout is named after Lajos Kossuth, who hid here after the 1848-49 Revolution and War of Independence. It is part of the Vulcan educational trail. In this part of the educational trail, the many witness mountains are placed on a live map, and next to it, the "Vulcan time wall" lists their ages in a "table". From above, of course, the wonderful Balaton Upland landscape is visible, with the tireless Balaton in the background. But the view towards the Southern Bakony is also excellent.
